This is a Helle Special version of the Fjellkniven with a stabilised, blue-coloured curly birch handle. The stabilisation process strengthens the wood so that it does not absorb moisture. The colours accentuates the natural patterning in the wood. Only available in very limited quantities. Comes with a black leather sheath.
About the Fjellkniven:
Fjellkniven is a traditional all-purpose belt knife. Today's version comes with a 12C27 steel blade – same design and feel as always, only now with a non-laminated blade.
The stainless steel blade is shaped for a wide range of every-day chores. The comfortable grip is shaped to keep your hands off the blade. Fjellkniven comes with the traditional pouch style sheath that does not require a keeper strap.
The name Fjellkniven translates from Norwegian to Mountain knife.
Delivered with a traditional pouch style sheath of genuine high-quality leather.
