The Viking is the revision of a Helle classic that was originally produced as a part of a fund-raiser for an around-the-world expedition in a Viking longship.
The handle is barrel shaped, but tapered to give the knife a distinct grip even if it is not contoured. It offers beauty in its simplicity and has become a modern classic, even if the design is more than a 1000 years old.
The knife works really well with all size hands, but should only be used by those of you that have more experience. No finger guard here, so think before use.
The knife is equipped with a rather thick blade, made of laminated carbon steel. Black to its finish, straight from heat treatment. Its narrow tang reaches all the way through the handle and is pinned old style with a diamond shaped washer.
Viking comes with a traditional back sewn leather sheath to hang in its leather loop on the belt.
This knife will rust if not maintained.

Open hereA beautiful, well-balanced blade that any true enthusiast will love.
I bought one of these a little over a year ago and I'm absolutely delighted with it. It was very sharp right out of the box. It holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen thanks to the wide bevel that serves as I built-in guide. The design may be 1000+ years old but it's still just about perfect.
I live in Newark New Jersey. I rely on this knife for personal protection while walking the crime infested streets of Newark. The knifes thick blade gives me confidence that I can protect myself and my family from human predators. I love it.
I love this knife. Fantastic blade edge, and very tough. I use this working at my tire shop and it's handling all the problems I give it. As a Norwegian descendant I'm very proud to carry this. Thank you
I’ve had this knife since my 15th birthday until now. I am 23. Still a daily carrier for me. I’ve used it from splitting wood and skinning deer to carving chess pieces. Worth every penny
