Steinbit is a fantastic tool to bring on any fishing trip. It is as beautiful as it is functional, and a true go-to when you are looking for that present to a fisherman/woman who has got everything.
Living the coastal life with the North Sea on your doorstep, we know our fishing. The Steinbit is one of the products that has become one of our classics, staying in production for over 30 years. Designed to meet the needs as a functional knife to bring on any fishing expedition, whether it is on the river, out on the fjord or all the way out on the big sea.
Wherever you are heading on your fishing trip, we will never wish you good fortune. That would mean bad luck to any fisherman in Norway.
The curly birch handle has been hand sanded to a satin finish to bring out the patterns in the wood. The blade is long and thin − sharpened and polished to a razor-sharp edge right out of the box.

I have owned this knife for a number of years. It has performed very well from northern grayling to large northern lake trout. The blade flex and length is perfectly set, allowing for a confident filet technique every time.
The quality also very high. It has spent endless hours in wet environments and salt water and it still maintains its striking appearance. The steel in the blade holds an edge through countless fish cleanings.
If you enjoy fishing, treat yourself to this knife. If you have a person in your life who loves fishing, surprise them with a gift of a lifetime.
The Steinbit is a very well balanced fileting knife that holds its edge extremely well. The handle fits the hand securely and stays where you hold it.

Love it. Excellent craftsmanship.
This knife is so nice I almost don’t want to use it. Haven’t had a chance to filet fish with it yet but it is razor sharp and cuts through chicken like butter. Actually looking forward to cleaning fish this spring now.
